Our Holiday Cottages / Gites
Our gites have been lovingly restored to provide our guests with quality self catering accomodation. All have their own private terrace and BBQ, and kitchens are well-equipped with dishwasher, oven/hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. Insect screens & fans in all bedrooms.
OUR RENTAL COTTAGES SOUTH WEST FRANCE
LEVANT - Sleeps 4
Downstairs is a large living area with comfy seats and a wood-burning fire, dining area with large dining table and the well-equipped kitchen area. A new oak kitchen was installed in 2008 with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven/hob and a large fridge/freezer. French doors lead onto a terrace with barbeque, shaded by a vine-covered pergola, with views across the valley.
A stone staircase from the lounge leads to a gallery landing, and onto the double bedroom with views over the surrounding fields, and a twin bedroom looking over the garden. There is an attractive shower room/wc.
As well as being delightfully cool during the hot summers, Levant is also ideal as a winter let. The insert woodburner vents into the double bedroom and the gite is extremely cosy in cold weather.

COUCHANT - Sleeps 6
A beautiful gite boasting spectacular exposed beams. The house is ‘upside-down’ with its spacious open-plan living area upstairs, looking over the front garden and fields to the rear.
There are two large comfy sofas, an oak dining table and chairs and a well-equipped oak kitchen installed in 2008 with dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freezer, second fridge, microwave, oven and hob. An insert fire in the living room keeps the chill away on cooler spring/autumn evenings.
French doors lead out onto the private terrace with table and chairs and a barbeque. This is the perfect spot for a glass of wine in the shade of mulberry, walnut and fig trees, whilst watching the sunset.
From the living area, the main staircase leads down to the bedrooms and the large front glass doors of the gite. There are two bedrooms (one double, one twin) on the ground floor along with a bathroom/wc and a shower room/wc. These bedrooms stay delightfully cool during our hot summers. A small staircase leads to the third (twin) bedroom – ideal for children who feel they have their own ‘den’ and yet within earshot of parents!

GRAND SOLEIL - Sleeps 6
This gite is situated next to the swimming pool – ideal for parents who want to keep an eye on the children swimming!
Downstairs is the sunny well-equipped kitchen (new in 2009) with diswasher, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, and microwave. The large living/dining room has a dining table, two sofas and two armchairs, and satellite tv with dvd. A door leads onto the large sunny terrace at the end of the house. There is also a shower/wc downstairs.
Upstairs are three bedrooms ( one double, one twin and one triple). The double room has French windows (protected) with a view towards an 11th century church. There is also a further bath/shower room/wc.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All bedrooms have insect screens in the windows, and electric fans. A hairdryer is provided in each gite.
For babies, we have a full-size cot and high chair, bath, bouncer chair and a stroller. Please tell us if you would like any other equipment.
For entertainment, we have children's swings, table tennis, swingball, mini-pool table, table football, boules, darts, badminton and pool games and inflatables. All gites have a selection of books and family games. We have a selection of dvds which you are welcome to borrow.
Bikes are available for guests' use.
Although as owners we live on site, we try to remain as much in the background as possible. However, we are always here for any information required, suggestions of places to visit or to book a restaurant for you. In the unfortunate event of you needing to visit a doctor or dentist, we are happy to accompany you and help with any translations required.
We have two golden retrievers, who are extremely gentle and adore children.
